Well It depends on how much is electricity consumption at your home, office or work place . For example, Let’s say your monthly electricity bill is Rs. 3000.00 Now to cover it you would need 3000/2.75 = 1090 Units production from Solar Installation. (Govt reimburses by 2.75 per unit) An average 1KW solar panel produces 4.5-5.0 units per day (varies by weather condition) So in a month energy is produced: 4.5 * 30 = 135 Units per month (taking the lowest side) But you need 1090 Units so KW installation would require 1090/135 = 8 KW (approx.)
